Happy weekend w Fashion Freedom for Men!

I LOVE women's fashion so no wonder this blog leaves me wanting more!
Feel so sad for all the men out there who don't get a chance to wear a dress.
Women's fashion rule and always will and just because you have a penis doesn't make it any less pretty. Just look at the photograph below or visit the blog His Black Dress

Found this blog this week and I Just Love all his photographs and all the different outfits! This is a blog celebrating fashion freedom for men and it really leaves me wanting more!!

Thank you

Dunyale Luna with love

In March 1966 Dunyale Luna was featured on the cover of British Vogue, making her the first black woman to appear on the cover of any Vogue magazine, period. The iconic cover image shows Luna covering most of her face, which was allegedly a request of the magazine's editors to help mask her ethnicity. Another theory is that the photographer was influenced by the work of Picasso and his simple lines and different ways of representing a face.

Sadly, Luna's illustrious career was cut short when she passed away due to a heroin overdose in 1979.

Here are some favourite photographs of Dunyale Luna.

Ruth Ansel at Moderna museet in Stockholm

For two days, the 16th and 17th of May, Ruth Ansel, Barbara Kruger among others, take part in an event called Hall of Femmes Design Talks at Moderna museet in Stockholm, Sweden. A great event created by the Hall of femmes.

Ruth Ansel has been the art director of magazines such as Harper's Bazaar, New York Times Magazine, Vogue and Vanity Fair. Working with photographers such as Irving Penn, Bruce Weber and Richard Avedon to name but a few. Being a woman who has always seemed to know what she wanted and who truly loves her work, she surely is inspiring. Here are some photographs of Ruth Ansel at work and of her most famous works.

If you want to see some of the brilliant artwork by Barbara Kruger who is also a part of the great Hall of Femme Design Talks,  click here

A really good idea!

"Why don't you paint a map of the world on all four walls of your boys' nursery so they won't grow up with a provincial point of view?" -Diana Vreeland, 1936
