When you don't need to stand up to make an impression
When you don't need to stand up to make an impression you can furnish your house with
the Leda chair or the Hands chair
In Diana von Furstenberg study stands this beautiful chair called the Leda chair. It really fits perfectly with her rococo desk and for that matter the rest of the interiour. The designer is none other than Salvador Dali and you can also find it in his painting here below.
If the Leda chair isn't enough you can also see Salvador Dali's chair called the Hands chair and it's just as gorgeaous.
I wouldn't mind having any of these at home. With a little movin' and shakin' while sitting on the Hands chair maybe one could even get ones back scratched.

Have a happy weekend with Dorothy Draper at The Greenbrier resort
Famous American interior decorator Dorothy Draper decorated the hotel The Greenbrier in North America, right after the end of World War II. Dorothy Draper would come to inspire a generation of home improvement devotees. The Anti-minimalist she was, she created the new style called "Modern Baroque". The Greenbrier is still one of her most famous works. Here are some new and old photographs to enjoy. It certainly leaves me wanting more...
